Jon started private yachting sixteen years ago; prior to this he trained and served to Chief Engineer Officer in the British Merchant Navy. He sailed on the M/Y MOON MAIDEN II and LEANDER as Chief before being offered his first command on the M/Y CARAMBA. A lifelong sailing yachtsman he then skippered the S/Y PHILANDERER for 5 years, chartering world wide. In 2001 he started working for the Owner of the two LADY CHRISTINA’S. He was project manager for the second build of this vessel (62m).
Jon joined TWIZZLE as rotational captain in 2010 and brings with him a wealth of valuable experience. Jon enjoys good food and wine, outdoor pursuits of all kinds and sailing his own yacht which is based in the South of France.
